About Chengdu Neusoft University
Chengdu Neusoft University is a non-governmental college established with the approval of the Ministry of Education and funded by Neusoft Co.. In 2003, with the approval of Sichuan Provincial People’s government, Chengdu Neusoft Information Technology Vocational College was established to carry out higher vocational education; In 2003, the school was identified as one of the first 35 national demonstration software vocational and technical colleges by the Ministry of Education. In 2011, it was upgraded to an undergraduate university with the approval of the Ministry of Education, renamed Chengdu Neusoft University, and became the first private undergraduate university in Sichuan Province; university passed the bachelor’s degree evaluation of newly-built undergraduate universities in 2015; In 2016, university became the president unit of Sichuan Private Education Association; In 2021, it successfully passed the qualification assessment of undergraduate teaching in colleges and universities, and became the first private university in Sichuan Province to pass the assessment.
The university is located in the world natural and cultural heritage – Dujiangyan Qingcheng Mountain National 5A scenic spot, covering an area of 528500 square meters, with more than 16000 students. At present, the university has 28 undergraduate majors, including engineering, literature, management, art and medicine. The majors involve data science and big data technology, computer science and technology, Internet of things engineering and intelligent medical engineering. It recruits students from 31 provinces (cities and autonomous regions) across the country. At present, 7 courses have been approved for ideological and political demonstration courses, and 22 majors have been approved at the provincial level, Including 6 applied demonstration majors in Sichuan Province and 6 first-class undergraduate specialty construction sites in Sichuan Province.

Chengdu Neusoft University is located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. It is a private general higher education institution approved by the Ministry of Education and funded by Neusoft. It is selected as the outstanding engineer education training program of Sichuan Province. It is the president unit of the Sichuan Private Education Association.
In 2003, Chengdu Neusoft Vocational College of Information Technology was established and was identified by the Ministry of Education as a national exemplary software vocational college; in 2011, approved by the Ministry of Education, the school was upgraded to Chengdu Neusoft College; in 2015, it was awarded a bachelor’s degree by a newly-built undergraduate college Unit evaluation.
The school covers an area of 592.58 mu, with a total construction area of 198,500 square meters, and a total of more than 13,000 students. Software Engineering Program
This course is the systematic application of scientific and technological knowledge, methods, and experience to the design, implementation, testing, and documentation of software. The Bachelor’s degree of Software Engineering program in CNU will prepare a student to master the basic theory of Software engineering, the analysis, design and development method to the general software and mobile applications, familiar with the popular platform and programming language, equipped with innovation ability, enterprising spirit, and the development practice experience. The highly foreign language aptitude and team spirit will also contribute to them to be the advanced software engineering applied talent.
Graduates of the Software Engineering Bachelor’s program are trained to work on all aspects of the software product life cycle. They learn how to develop high-capacity computer software in a controlled, systematic and quantifiable manner and ensure it is reliable, efficient and economic. The typical job includes software engineer(includes Java Developer, Android Developer, iPhone Developer), software testing engineer, software QA engineer, software support engineer.
E-commerce Program
This course is designed for students who would like to obtain a Bachelor degree in the principle areas of E-commerce. This interdisciplinary program is suitable preparation for students who would like to become professionals in electronic commerce or want to pursue a general career in business. The degree consists of compulsory core subjects which include management, economics, marketing, computer programming skills and related subjects. The aim is to provide a foundation for the understanding of the business and commercial environment.
Digital Media Technology
This course is designed for who would like to obtain a Bachelor degree in the principle areas of Digital Art. This interdisciplinary program is suitable preparation for students who would like to become professionals in digital media or want to pursue a general career in digital art. The degree consists of compulsory core subjects which include digital color, interactive media technology, Digital Image Processing Techniques, UI design and related subjects. The aim is to provide a foundation for the understanding of thedigital media technology.
Chinese and Chinese Cultural Course ( half-year and one year available)
Chinese Courses give you the opportunity to experience university life in China while improving your language skills.As for beginners, it will develop your conversational Chinese in the first place, at the same time, your Chinese language skills, and also familiarize you with Chinese culture.
